Stephen Solen joins Levelup IOP with 17 years of experience in education and seven years of leadership as a school principal.

Currently, he is the principal at Pleasant Creek School, specializing in high-impact work with incarcerated youth.

An advocate for unconventional learning, Stephen is also the author of the book Make School Not School, a focus on connecting education with students in an alternative setting away from traditional school.

Stephen’s background is supported by a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science (BYU), a Master’s in Information Science and Learning Technology (Mizzou), and a Master’s in Education Leadership (WGU).

This combination of science, technology, and leadership drives his innovative approach to student growth.

In addition to his career in education, Stephen is an entrepreneur and enjoys pushing himself in physical competitions.

He is the owner of Road Warrior Supplements and the host of The Dad Bod Warrior Podcast.

His commitment to discipline is evident in his athletic pursuits; he has played soccer for 39 years, coached teams to two high school state championships, and completed 50 Spartan races.

An Orem native, Stephen has been married for 21 years and is the father of three children and his faithful Aussiedoodle, Ozzy.

He brings a unique blend of educational expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and a passion for transformation to everyone he meets.
